Natural killer (NK) cells function as the body’s first responders. As soon as NK cells sense a potential invasion, they are on the scene to initiate a healthy immune response.^1,2 NK cells also promote the body’s natural defenses against seasonal immune challenges.

In addition, NK cells recognize and eliminate senescent cells that accumulate in aged tissues and create metabolic disturbances.³ NK cell activity declines with normal aging which can affect immune function.¹

Real-world Immune Support

NK cells provide the body’s first, immediate response to previously unknown immune challenges.^1,2 But NK cell function declines over time. Studies show that enzymatically modified rice bran significantly boosts NK cell activity. So we created a seasonal immune support formula to provide real-world immune protection from the effects of seasonal immune challenges. ⁴

Clinically studied rice bran extract

Rice bran exposed to shitake-derived enzymes produces powerful immune-modulating compounds. Enzymatically modified rice bran effectively boosts the functional activity of NK cells.⁴

In one clinical study, scientists documented a three-fold increase of NK cell activity in healthy individuals within three to four weeks of receiving 500 mg daily of the rice bran compound, the same one we use in NK Cell Activator™.⁵

In another double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled study, subjects taking the same modified rice bran experienced a boost in myeloid dendritic cells. These kind of cells act as key messengers between the innate and the adaptive immune systems.⁶
